Joshua (Josh) James is a medical physicist and assistant professor in radiation oncology at Louisville CyberKnife. Josh received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Western Kentucky University in 2003, then his Master of Science in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2005. He became certified in radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology (DABR). Josh has been in the healthcare industry for 14 years and joined Louisville CyberKnife in August 2018.
As the medical physicist, Josh completes treatment planning for CyberKnife treatments and performs quality assurance tests on the system to ensure safe patient treatments. He enjoys helping physicians provide the best possible treatments to patients through the CyberKnife. During his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his kids, taking his dog to the park, and exploring great local restaurants.
