Louisville CyberKnife Celebrates First Year at James Graham Brown Cancer Center

This month Louisville CyberKnife is celebrating one year since launching the CyberKnife program at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. We’ve treated more than 100 patients with stereotactic body radiation therapy.

In addition, we celebrated a number of milestones this year including:

• The endorsement of SBRT as a primary option for prostate cancer treatment by the American Society of Radiation Oncology.
• Together with KentuckyOne Health, we worked to offer patients a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care by working closely with cancer specialists from our network to provide comprehensive overviews of treatment options. Learn more here.
• Participation in a number of community events including continuing medical education seminars and cancer education segments on WAVE 3 Listens Live and WHAS Great Day Live.
