
Louisville CyberKnife Ranks Top in Company in Patient Satisfaction
Louisville CyberKnife has been ranked number one in patient satisfaction by Alliance Oncology, the nationwide leader in radiosurgery programs.
Louisville CyberKnife is a joint venture between James Graham Brown Cancer Center and Alliance Oncology. Of the 31 radiation therapy centers that Alliance Oncology partners with, Louisville CyberKnife ranked first in patient satisfaction for the year 2015.
The rankings are determined by the scores of patient satisfaction surveys, which are conducted by an outside company, Avatar Solutions, on an ongoing basis.
Avatar Solutions is an innovative survey, data measurement, and performance improvement company with over 30 years of experience. Avatar provides CAHPS Surveys, Patient Satisfaction Surveys, Employee Surveys, and Physician Surveys to over 500 hospitals and 11,600 clinicians nationwide. Their survey research programs help organizations advance their missions by capturing and mobilizing the feedback of key stakeholders.
Louisville CyberKnife’s patient satisfaction surveys yielded exceptionally high marks in the past year with an average 99.2 percent of patients surveyed reporting a positive experience with their care.
Also, overall as a company, Alliance Oncology’s radiation therapy centers average patient satisfaction score is 95.4, which is better than the 92.8 national average. It is because of these high scores that Alliance Oncology was awarded with Avatar International’s Exemplary Service award for “Exceeding Patient Expectations.”
